We were trying to get new websites online already one year ago but then we faced problems with coder and that was the end of project back then. But earlier during this fall project became alive again as we managed to get a college student Jussi “Frozti” Alanen to code our websites as his practical job. This project was excellent training for him and also it is the biggest project for him so far. We’re sure that this project has helped him out really much and the experience he gained will help him in the future within school and real work since there was lots of challenges. Project took quite long due to his other school stuff and also real work, and sites aren’t totally finished yet and there will be development all the time.
What are our new websites offering?
Our new websites has much of new features compared to old ones. We have got a TV with co-operation of Gaming.fi. TV will show much of streams from different tournaments, events and our team’s matches and besides all this, streams made by Gaming.fi! Streams shown by TV will be really diversed and we will give information about them here at our websites and also at Gaming.fi sites. Also feel free to give us feedback about TV’s streams which you can send to Jere “LeLE” Alanen (jere(at)rctic.org) and to Joonas “YoNzZu” Rajaniemi  (yonzzuDEL[at]DELgaming.fi) from Gaming.fi.
These websites also features “Media” and “Shop” sections which are coming later on. From Shop you can order products of RCTIC eSports and our supporters. Media section will include photos, wallpapers and other media material. We will inform when these sections will be seeing the daylight!
There is also “Results” section from where you can find the results of our team’s matches. “Social” section you will find out that from which you can see, what websites of social media RCTIC eSports is using. Also our “Teams” section has changed a lot and is more diversed now.
Within these new websites there will be even more news posts from now on. From different events, tournaments and scenes of our gaming teams will be released interesting articles which are worth of reading. And if there’s someone who would like to work for us as news writer, don’t hesitate sending an application over to jere.alanen@rctic.org
